Traditions are not inherited. Somebody starts them, on an ordinary day, on purpose.
The best ones are small and stupidly repeatable: first Friday pizza and a film, pancakes when it snows, a walk after Sunday lunch no matter the weather.
It becomes a tradition on the third repetition, not the first. Protect the first three.
Choose something cheap and low effort or it will quietly die in a busy month.

How to actually do it
- 01Pick something small enough to repeat monthly.
- 02Do it three times in a row before you judge it.
- 03Give it a name the kids can say.
You already know if this is the one. Go put a date on it.
