You paid for the whole meal. Most days you experience about a third of it.
Standing at the counter, scrolling with one hand, finishing in nine minutes: that is not eating, it is refuelling. There is nothing wrong with refuelling, but it should not be all of them.
Pick one meal this week and give it thirty minutes at a table. Plate it, even if it came from a box. Sit down, even if you are on your own.
Eating slowly is the cheapest available upgrade to an ordinary day, and it works the first time you try it.

How to actually do it
- 01Choose the meal and put it on the calendar like anything else.
- 02Plate it properly and sit at a table.
- 03No screens for the length of the meal.
You already know if this is the one. Go put a date on it.
